based upon that i did some careful measurements of my own hand and created this piece. the box is made of pine and cherry, the measurement bars are out of lyptus.
i am sure a case could me made for this piece being symbolic of the artist's hand or some such. maybe that explanation will come in time. of note though, i am getting better at resawing wood scraps and making small boxes. happy with that progress
