i know i have not posted anything on games design lately, but never fear, i am working on several things.
one of which is:
scott slomiany, author of pocket civ, is working on a new game that looks very interesting. it is another of his solo games with minimal components. in fact all you need to play is paper, a pencil and a deck of twenty cards.
his cards are very information dense and i have been working on organizing the information better to suit my own tastes for the set i will make for my personal collection.
the left third calculates battle damage and treasure gained
the middle third affects areas you are traveling in and monsters/quests to complete
the right third establishes new regions, paths and shows where battle damage has an effect
