journey continued

i'll be part of a new two artist show in august here in pittsburgh. the theme is 'journey' and i am taking a decidedly 'naturalist' direction with most of the work. in a previous post i spoke about a game called "Hyena" which is an ancient board game

below is an assemblage shot of works in progress for a piece i am calling "The Naturalist Box" and beneath that is a photo of one of the bell jar pieces that will go in the box.

all objects in this piece are found as is, no staining, dye-ing, painting or other effect have been added. just items collected and curatorially displayed.
