first semi-successful carrot harvest. they are a bit on the small side but quite sweet (especially the blood red ones). these are destined to be pickled and saved for a few months for the colder nights.
also on the list today is making pear butter with the pears from my tree which are now ripe and ready and maybe some peach jam with champagne if i can fit it in the day.
later this week, dig up the potatoes.
