the lilacs have begun to bloom.
and i went to the nursery today for new things for the garden for another summer of culinary explorations. this year i am putting a tisane garden in and bought several kinds of mint, lemongrass and lemon verbena for it. my plan is to make fresh tisanes and then dry the herbs in the fall for tea infusions. stay tuned and let me know if you might like some of the tea.
