my second class of the week was an introduction to woodturning and the first time i've used a lathe. we made honeydippers and i am well pleased with the result. definitely an addictive type of woodworking and one that will have me owning a microlathe one day i am sure. this was turned in green maple which is also a curious new thing since i use all kiln-dried stock for furniture making.
