i decided to start a new, ongoing, feature on my blog: showcasing interesting books in my collection. for our inaugural edition i have chosen the immoralist by andré gide. this is the first american edition, translated by dorothy bussy and put out by Knopf in 1930. sadly the artist was not credited. text is set in elzevir however according to the colophon
