the friends of the pittsburgh urban forest will be having their fundraiser - arbor aid - at the end of october. i will be one of the designers/artists featuring work at the show. i am planning on submitting three pieces of furniture of which this table is one.
built from maple, mahogany and pine, all reclaimed from around the city. 12" x 15" x 30"h with one very tiny drawer.
i am pleased with my growing skill set. in this case the single board of maple was cut at 45deg angles twice to wrap around the one set of legs and forming the other leg. the grain runs up over and back down.
