the second of three yoga benches was finished today. this one was a bit more technically challenging since it was hard to clamp the leg assemblies because they are angled. but after some head scratching and some durn-nating i got them to finally work. this narrow setu bandhu bench is 8" x 48" x 17"h and constructed with reclaimed maple. i think the proportions of this are very well balanced.
definitely a bench to make notes of to construct again at a later time. the hokusai-like wave patterning to the grain on the end is really quite gorgeous.
