woodworking show at elan gallery

a few weeks ago i was invited to submit some of my tables to the current Elan Gallery show in Sewickley (runs through September 30th - W-F 12-4, Sat - 10-3 : 427 Broad St.)

there are 6 of us in the show and i am certainly in the company of some amazing craftspeople. the opening was last night and it was a rare occasion for me to talk to other people who do the same thing i do. working and living alone, i miss the studio atmosphere back when i was in architecture school. below is a brie photo tour of the show. if you live in pittsburgh take a drive over to sewickley and see the work in person.

my 3 modest contributions

one of my show favorites

The two three-legged pieces are really neat. I'm a big fan of asymmetry.
