ted chiang is a brilliant science fiction short story writer who publishes new work infrequently. this story is about golems and DNA in an alternate world going through the industrial revolution and has a steampunk flair to it. i decided i wanted to make a book that looked similar to a victorian scientific journal. covers are 3 layers of laminated chipboard and the books bound with a coptic stitch, which, with only one signature in the book, makes for a nice chain effect on the spine. edition of 4. the book is 9" x 9".
