herbed sea salt is a great way to use up those last herbs in the garden before the fall frost gets to them. under my knife today: basil, oregano and lemon thyme.
chop well, mix thoroughly with sea salt (i threw in some himalayan pink and hawaiian black for some added color) and pour onto a single layer on a cookie sheet. in the oven for 40-50 minutes at 200degF, stirring now and then to reduce clumping. when dry, let cool, bottle and store.
